Team publishes Ullswater calendar for 2022

Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team (MRT) and its fundraisers are pleased to announce the launch of a new 2022 fundraising calendar.

“2021 saw the first ever Ullswater Valley calendar to raise money for the Team,” explains Ann Childs, the Trustee and supporter behind the project. “We were extremely grateful for everyone’s support – contributors and purchasers – and for their feedback.  The 2021 calendar sold worldwide and seemed to bring pleasure to many as the photographs brought back memories of happy times spent in the Ullswater area.”

The 2022 edition again has the Ullswater Valley as its theme, reflecting the heart of the area covered by Patterdale MRT, and it includes images of the valley taken throughout the seasons and at various times of the day and night. The photographs were contributed after an appeal earlier in the year and have been taken by Team members, Trustees and Supporters, including professional photographers, Mark Littlejohn and Carmen Norman who are both Supporters of the Team.

The calendar is available to buy online from the Team’s website shop Click here and from Catstycam Outdoor in Glenridding, via the shop itself or from its website.

“We’re keeping the price at £10 plus postage and packing for online orders,” explains Ann, “and each one comes with a card envelope so that it can be given as a gift. Thanks go to Team President and member, Dave Freeborn for his work on the design, to Mike Childs for gathering the images (and contributing a few himself) and to H&H Reeds for printing the calendar. Last year, we were delighted to sell 400 copies and know that we disappointed some when it sold out so we’re hoping to sell a bigger print run of 500 calendars this year and hope that 500 homes will be enjoying views of this beautiful area throughout 2022.”

A few of our Ullswater Valley 2022 Calendars left to sell - all proceeds to the New Rescue Boat Appeal. Buy yours now online or from @Catstycam in Glenridding before they're all gone!
