Support the Team by joining our Supporters’ Club

Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team is reliant on the many supporters who give their valuable time and money to keep the Team equipped, trained and ready to save lives in and around Patterdale. You and your family could play a part in our future by becoming a part of this extended team.

For as little as £12, you can join our Supporters’ Club.  If you join for five years you can contribute £50 or more towards these costs AND help us to plan more effectively because you have made that commitment in advance.

We maintain contact with the members of our Supporters’ Club by distributing copies of our Annual Report each Spring plus our supporters’ newsletter, Patrick Relay, twice a year.  You can receive these either online or by post, as you choose.  Supporters are also encouraged to visit the base in Patterdale and to take part in fundraising social events. By joining the Supporters’ Club, you become part of our extended team.

The Team certainly appreciates the support and commitment of every supporter – we couldn’t do what we do without you.

You can securely join online by clicking this link below.

The best way you can join is by downloading a pdf copy of our Supporters Club leaflet and our Standing Order form and completing that form. Please also consider whether you are able to gift aid your donation and if so please also complete the Gift Aid section of the form.

If you would like to get even more involved, especially if you live in the area or spend a large part of your spare time here, we have a small group of dedicated hands-on helpers who are heavily involved with the team.  This group not only organises fund-raising events at our Rescue Base and in the Ullswater valley but also takes some of the administrative load off active team members who have many calls on their time. In addition they arrange educational visits to our base for local school groups or groups visiting one of the many activity centres in the area. You can download our schools education pack here.  We are always looking for more volunteers to help spread this load over a wider group, so if you would like to learn more about this please contact the secretary of Patterdale Mountain Rescue Association at or by post at our address below.
