Hillwalker rescued from Hartsop Dodd: Hartsop Dodd 6th March
Patterdale Mountain rescue team were today called to the assistance of a 66 year old man who had injured his leg while walking on Hartsop Dodd. The man, an experienced walker from South Shields, had tripped and had sustained a suspected broken ankle.

Team News: Swirral Edge rescue features on Countryside 999 18th March
A rescue from Swirral Edge last November was captured on film by a BBC crew flying with the RN Sea King helicopter that was involved. Footage, including Team Doctor John Ellerton, will feature in a Countryside 999 programme on BBC TV on Friday 22 March at 3.45pm, including a follow up interview with the casualty, Mr Peter Flint from Lincoln.
